The main goal of her PhD research project is to develop a highly efficient oxygen electrode material for reversible solid oxide fuel cells (RSOFCS), based on a novel La0.3Ca0.7Fe0.7Cr0.3O3-δ (LCFCr) mixed ionic-electronic conducting perovskite material being developed in our group. The unique concept behind this work is that LCFCr will be employed at both electrodes in both SOFC and SOEC modes, thus substantially reducing the manufacturing costs and time, while also improving overall performance.
